Our New Piano!

Here it is- our new used Acrosonic (made by Baldwin) piano.  It's already received one tuning and is in use during lessons.  Thanks so much to those of you who donated money, yard sale items, your time helping out with fundraisers and encouragement!  We wouldn't have this fine piano without your help.

Spring Pops Recital

Just wanted to share our team photo from last evening's recital:

I am sooooo proud of these kids!  They pulled off a very entertaining program (movie and TV themes prevailed)  In my opinion, it was one of the funnest recitals yet.  To top it off, we ate some of the best homemade cookies around afterwards.  (Thanks to Grandma Sell and Rachel Bonnell for baking on Monday afternoon!)

Felici Trio

Felici Trio Concert

On Sunday, April 15, at 3 PM this wonderful classical trio will be performing at the Oak Ridge Associated Universities' Pollard Hall in Oak Ridge, TN.  Directions are found here.

For us, this is an especially exciting concert because this is the very same Felici Trio that Laura once performed in (as their pianist)!  We also attended Indiana University School of Music together. The Felici's now live and work in Mammoth Lakes, California, where they perform and teach ALL the time.  They founded Chamber Music Unbound, a nonprofit "dedicated to providing outstanding classical music performances and music education." Read more about this awesome ensemble here!
