You read that right - first Master Street Class was privileged to have Virgil Bowlin come and teach at our studio - now, Dave Bowlin (Virgil's brother) has joined us!
Like Virgil, Dave has grown up playing and singing and performing the classic music of the Appalachians. Though his repertoire would eventually swell with styles (like, um, Heavy Metal?), by 2005 Dave "really returned to his foundations in American acoustic roots music."
Dave is teaching guitar, bass guitar and the banjo starting today (yes, he's already got students at MSC!), Monday, 09/12/2011. He dropped by and liked what he saw so much, he wanted to get started right away. So, Mondays will be his one (1) teaching day so far. You can check him out and contact him thru his own website here.
