Yes, you can! These adorable Mary Jane slippers were made by Miss Abigail. She is our teacher and gift maker of crochet and she found the "recipe" for these slippers at the blog for "Rebelle Girls," a gift shop in Lexington where they sell specialty yarns for knitters and other green items as well as cool gifts.
(The shop also happens to be owned by our favorite midwife Sarah, who helped at Revelation's birth.) Please visit ReBelle Girl's FB page too, as that seems to be where most of the action is! For those of you who want to try making the slippers at home and didn't realize you could've clicked on the link above and navigated there, just click right . . . here . . . and you'll get the pattern directly!!
If you're not there just yet, think about all the hot days ahead. Now, picture yourself in the cool, relaxing atmosphere of our Master Street Class studio, your fingers wrapped around some yarn- or rather, a ball of yarn all wrapped around your fingers! You'll be learning from a true lover-of-the-yarn and needle.
The schedule is Thursdays at 3:30 and 4:30; the first Saturday of the month at 1 PM; and by appointment as well.
